He talked about a player who had 13 cars and next thing you know they were taken away because he wasn't making money from the NBA. He made comment on the offseason and trying to rebuilt the team after winning the champioship and what it would take to bring different players in. Blog number 4

Hello Blog world, This is my fourth blog and hopefully my grade is looking good for class. This blog revolves around chapters five and six for Shaq Talks Back. This chapter is around the 2000-2001 season when the Lakers won their first championship. Chapter five is where Shaq meets his new head coach Phil Jackson. Phil was the coach of the Chicago Bulls who won six championship. He talks about his first meeting in which he had to help he move a tree and how Phil is into yoga so he talked about that to. Shaq also calles Phil his white father because that how much he meant to him. Their was also a few pages devoted to his free throw shooting, which he is around 50 % which is bad, but he tries. Chapter six is with his relationship with Kobe Bryant. Kobe was a up and coming star that came from highschool to the pros. He talked about his slap fight with Kobe which just sounds funny to me. Shaq felt the media try to break them apart but Phil Jackson pulled them together and they were able to make it through.

Blog number 3

Hello Blog world, I'm back with my third blog about Shaq Talks Back. In this blog chapters three and four are the main topic. Chapter three dealt with his first team the Orlando Magic and the up and downs, while he was playing their. He talked about his grandmother dieing in 1996 from cancer and how he felt the team didn't take his feeling into account. He was also in a mini-feud with his teammate Penny Hardaway, who was also a star on the team. At the end of chapter three he talked about how Penny Hardaway didn't pay this particular young high school star any mind when he asked him for his autograph. That young highschool star was Shaq future teammate Kobe Bryant. Chapter four was the introduction of Shaq with the LA Lakers. He felt it was the right to leave Orlando and head onto LA and try to start his dynasty. This chapter mention alot of familar NBA players to myself, such as Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel and Dennis Rodman. The cursing in the the two chapters were funny but I not going to put that on my blog because I'm keeping it PG. This is Gerard's World and I'm out

Blog number 2

Hello Blog world, I'm back and ready to talk about the first two chapters of Shaq Talk's Back. I love this book because Shaq is funny and you get to learn about his background and struggles. The first chapter was short about four pages and the second chapter is about thirty-four. The first chapter dealt with were he is now in his career, just winning the NBA championship for the first time, relationship with teammates and how he was hammered by the media for not winning a championship his first seven years in the league and how he was going to make one hundred and fifty two million dollars over the next two years. All I can say is Wow, I wish I had money like that. The second chapter dealt with his childhood and how no one believed he was his age. Shaq was also born in New Jersey, so I want to give a little shout out for that. He had a hard life growing up and he got through it. One example is when they made fun of him and he would respond in violence, which later on he changed because he knew he could really hurt people. This chapter goes from birth until he gets done with college. Interesting fact hes name in Islamic term means little warrior, which his mom explained in detail in one of the letters placed in the book. I know this blog is a little bit long but I still getting use to this blogging then. I will soon be placing some of his music or movies parts on my blog for fun. This is Gerard's World and I'm Out
